Crocs introduced the Islander design made with lightweight EVA, but never capitalized on the same bright colour blocking opportunities as with their other styles.
Like the Jimmy Boot by Native, also made from lightweight injected EVA.
Timberland, Sorel and many other outdoor companies have used the rubber/leather combination to provide good insulation for their winter boots.
Baffin the world leader in insulated footwear also uses the ‘Split Upper’ design for their extreme cold weather Polar Boot Footwear line. These Impact boots are rated up to -148F.
