WOW! Go Phonebloks!
What an interesting way to pitch a concept. I wonder what effect the Thunderclap will have?
But most of all what an inspirational modular design project, how do we apply a similar modular design philosophy to more products like footwear? Upgrading the shoe sole with the latest cool silhouette, or cushioning technology for example.
I also think a modular, or aftermarket business model could be equally profitable. Replacement parts could be priced high, because to the consumer their price tag would still be cheaper than buying a new phone.

The philosophy of product dissasembly would also help the e-waste business to become safer and more efficient.
