JVO Rally Kit

I wonder how many readers are interested in motorcycles? I wanted to share these old photos that I recently found hidden away in folder on my computer.

I don’t think this JVO kit is being made anymore, but I love how this fuel tank wraps around the motorcycle. Like a multi-functional fairing, and with such new and elegant proportions along with that radical deconstructive form language. A classic for sure and probably the closest a motorcycle has come to looking like a horse.

You probably don’t want to knock into anything too hard and risk damaging the tank.

Can our passion for motorcycles stem from the fact that for thousands of years humans have depended on horses? I wonder are we genetically driven, or pre-programmed to prefer horses and horse like vehicles?

This truly is the look of an off-road racebike.
