The tree is one of the most beautiful expressions of life.
As it grows, it’s roots deep and branches out,
with many small leaves, or a few big ones, it also provides shelter and sustenance for others.
I’ve been pondering over Elon Musk saying that analogically thinking is flawed and that you must think on first principles basis instead.
While I agree that getting to the root and common denominator of everything is the most important, I also think that to arrive at the first principle requires analogical analysis and hypothesis. I maybe mistaken, but I think Analogy is a precursor to the First Principle and problem solving requires both.
Because often you have no choice but to examine the leaf before the branch.
