What if traction elements were dynamic, if they could move across the soccer shoe upper depending on flex and strike?
What if the soccer shoe could become more structurally rigid only during ball strike like a tennis racket. While for running the upper could become more flexible? Maybe using Auxetic Structures?

What if running shoe upper breathability was dynamic, if the upper opened up upon gait and flex, pumping out the heat and moisture while sucking in cool fresh air.
And footwear dynamic uppers could also include the use of graphics, literally bringing the shoe alive.
In sports applications even displaying biometric data of the user.
What if the upper could graphically transmit the wearer’s pulse.
If each pattern revolution was equal to a heartbeat.
What if the graphic expression of a footwear design could be maximized through animation.
And if the upper could constrict the foot in ways which enhanced muscle movement, or even loosen the muscles.
Many stunning gif. animated patterns available online inspired me to wonder what if.
