Printed Footwear Soles – Consumer Controlled Design Geometry

By placing dimensional parameters to govern the geometry of the 3D model on the computer program, the consumer could be free to personalize the geometry of the exterior surfaces to their own tastes before their custom sole is printed.

Through the order page of the company website, using a dial the consumer could alter the surface language without compromising the functional structure of the sole. Increasing the size and quantity of  grooves, or holes in the sole for example.
